In the third quarter of 2024, Lithuania's Android navigation app landscape saw diverse performance trends among the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a notable presence with weekly downloads initially around 4.5K, peaking at 5.1K in the week of July 8. However, a gradual decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately 2.5K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users hovered around 35K at the start of the quarter, experiencing a slight dip to about 32.7K by the end.
Easy Rout Map: Navigation Path saw a modest range of weekly downloads, starting at 553 and decreasing to 318 by the final week of September. Active users fluctuated slightly, beginning at over 3K and closing the quarter near 2.9K.
Google Maps Go demonstrated steady weekly downloads, starting at 327 and peaking at 479 during the week of August 5. The app's active users showed a slight upward trajectory, increasing from 1.1K to approximately 1.2K by the quarter's end.
The performance of GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation indicated a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 501 and tapering to 264 by September 30. Active users also saw a downward trend, from 1.2K at the beginning to 663 by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Google Earth showed a varied download pattern, beginning at 306, witnessing a peak of 421 in late September, and then closing at 275. Its active user base started at nearly 3K, increased to over 3.1K mid-September, and concluded at approximately 2.7K.
